This cruise is in celebration of our 10th
anniversary of our family gatherings, which was technically started
in June of 1998. Prior to that, Don, Teeter and myself went to
Myrtle Beach, SC every summer alone for our family vacation.
That year, 1998, Judy Amerman contacted me and wanted to come to the
beach to meet us and join us in our family vacation. She and
her son Nick, who was 8 at the time and Teeter was 6, came and we
had a wonderful time with them. We decided that maybe the next
summer we would put a notice out on our listserv to see who else
would like to meet us and other families. The next summer,
June 1999, we had 11 families attend. The rest is history.
Every year since, I have organized a family vacation in Myrtle
Beach, SC with the exception of this year, our 10th year. To
celebrate, I decided to do something a little special - the Disney
Cruise. And what a great time was had by all our wonderful
families that attended. We are all sorry that it's over, but
look forward to next year's event back in Myrtle Beach, SC.

families that attended.
I would also like to thank
Disney Cruise Line for their superior service and
hospitality. We all enjoyed the Ice Cream social, the
private luncheon, the meet and greet with the Captain, the
kitchen tour and the pillow case decorating event. Nicole
outdid herself in planning these onboard events.
